Reversing With A Spotter Demonstration with Driver Risk Management 

This session is designed to demonstrate how to safely reverse a caravan whilst utilising a spotter standing at the front of the vehicle. The technique combines safety and clear communication that reduces stress and confusion and simplifies the task. 

 The towing demonstration will take place just outside the iTechworld Lifestyle Pavilion. Admission is free, tiered seating will be provided and there will be time for questions after the demonstration. If you are new to caravanning or would love to upskill in this area, this demonstration is a must.

Camp Oven Cooking with Jo Clews

Join bush cook Jo Clews for a seminar on the quality culinary delights you can rustle up when you’re out on the road. She will demonstrate her skills and provide hints and tips on how to cook up a storm on your next outdoor adventure. 

Always a crowd favourite, you’ll be able to smell the scrumptious delights and smoky aromas beckoning you in from a mile away. Learn how you can make delicious and simple meals just like it with some clever recipes and tips that will get everyone talking. 

Ms Clews will draw on her years of experience in creating a variety of mouth-watering meals for shearers and station hands in a wide range of camping and outdoor environments. Let Ms Clews provide you with ideas that will make your next outdoor cooking experience a delicious one.

4WD Basics with Premium Caravan & Camper Training

Join the team at Premium Caravan & Camper Training as they discuss and demonstrate the basic, yet essential, information you need to know before you head off the bitumen. 
Demonstrations will cover a range of topics including snatch strap recovery, exhaust jack recovery, self-recovery plus much more!

2:00PM – 4WD Basics – Self Recovery and Q&A

*Please note: The Snap Strap Recovery demonstration on Sunday morning will be held at 10:30 AM instead of 10:00 AM.

Site 36 – iTechworld Lifestyle Pavilion

RAC Rescue Experience

The RAC Rescue Experience allows you to take to the sky with the Pilot, Aircrew Officer and Critical Care Paramedic using virtual reality technology. The four minute, 360 degree experience takes you on a mission on board one of the RAC Rescue helicopters. 

You will land at the scene of a road crash and watch as the RAC Rescue crew and first responders work together to safely load the patient onto the aircraft. You’ll then depart the scene, taking in the views of Perth City before landing on top of Fiona Stanley Hospital.
