Travel & Parking
Limited onsite parking is available for $5.00 per vehicle and this is managed by the Royal Agricultural Society of WA.
Their helpful parking attendants will be on hand to direct you to the nearest available parking spot.
Please be aware of parking signs surrounding the Claremont Showground to avoid receiving an infringement. The Town of Claremont Rangers regularly patrol the area for cars parked illegally, so please be courteous to local residents and park in accordance to the signage.
With the Claremont Football ground development still underway parking in the area and near Claremont train station is limited.
To help get around this inconvenience, this year we have a free parcel pick up area at Gate 12 (off Shenton Road) where you can leave an item(s) with us and return later with your car to collect it.
Please also be mindful of your surroundings when you park your car, ensure your car is locked and don’t leave valuables behind. For more information on safety, visit the WA Police website or download their ‘Tougher for Crooks’ information sheet.
Free Offsite Parking Available – Weekend Only
This year, with the support of Swanbourne Primary School, visitors to the Show can park for free at the school on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th March. There will be a courtesy shuttle bus running between the parking facility and Gate 1 (Graylands Road) at Claremont Showground, thanks to RAC. The buses will be doing a continuous circle between the two locations starting at 8am, with the last bus departing the Showground at 5.30pm.
Visitors can leave their purchases at the parcel pick-up area, located near Gate 12 (off Shenton Road) and return later with their cars to pick up their goods. Alternatively, there is space under the bus for storing Show purchases. Please note that storing items under the bus is done so at your own risk.
Visitors can access the parking via Narla Road, Swanbourne. Please follow the signs and directions from the parking attendants. There is directional signage from Alfred Road and the main entry to the Showground at Gate 8 (Ashton Ave).
Dedicated ACROD parking bays are limited through Gate 8 (off Ashton Avenue) and Gate 6 (off Graylands Road), so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
A drop off/pick up point is available outside the Gate 1 entrance that may be available depending on road closures from the neighbouring development. Further information will be released closer to the event so keep checking back for more.
All tickets purchased online include free travel on the Transperth network (bus or train), to and from the 2017 RAC Perth Caravan & Camping Show, three hours before opening, during and three hours after closing.
Public transport users are required to provide proof of purchase (show ticket) upon request so be sure to hold on to your Show receipt!
The Showground train station on the Fremantle line will be operational across Show opening times. Please be aware express trains do not stop at the Showground station.
If you miss the Showground Station, simply disembark at Claremont train station, 400 meters from Gate 1.
