In Wagin you will find Wagin Ram Park home of Bart the Giant Ram who is one of the largest replicas of a merino ram in the Southern Hemisphere joined by Rambo in Goulburn New South Wales who is slightly larger and not free standing.
Wagin Historical Village built to celebrate the town’s history a full-scale village that takes you back in time. The village is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and is open 7 days a week (except Good Friday, East Sunday, Christmas and Boxing Day) from 10am to 4pm. Opened in 1978 with a few pieces of old machinery the village has grown to be the largest social history museum in Western Australia.
Wagin Woolorama is an annual event held in March the weekend following the long weekend every year. The event is a two day extravaganza the largest regional agricultural show encompassing the Western Australian Sheep Show.
There’s a host of sporting and community clubs and associations with events happening throughout the year. The lakes are a treat for all sorts of water sports enthusiasts.
