So vast is El Questro, it extends for approximately 80km into the heart of the East Kimberley, most of which has never been explored. It is one of Australia’s last true frontiers.
Whilst holidaying at El Questro, you will enjoy activities including barramundi fishing, horse trekking, or exploring remote areas by helicopter that only a select few have ever seen. A day spent with a local Ranger will introduce you to a huge variety of animals and birds – you may even spot a saltwater crocodile! You could stay at El Questro for a year and still not come close to experiencing everything this magnificent part of the world has to offer. At El Questro, you can choose to explore it alone on any one of our walking trails through ancient gorges and thermal springs or join one of our guided tours to the far reaches of the park.
El Questro Wilderness Park offers four types of accommodation, each different in style and catering to a range of budgets: exclusive and five-star luxury at the Homestead, tented cabins nestled into the natural bush land at Emma Gorge Resort, air-conditioned rooms at El Questro Station and riverside camping along the Pentecost River.
